About chef Elliot 

Elliot began his cooking career as an apprentice in London, learning his craft at the capital’s finest restaurants with some of the greatest chefs and restauranteurs of the time. Elliot’s’ proudest moment was being appointed head chef at award winning restaurant, J Sheekey, where his love of cooking fish and seafood was born. A move to New York introduced him to the flavours and ingredients of the Americas, he and his family fell in love with the energy of the United States, and he was lucky enough to spend time living and cooking in Los Angeles and San Francisco. On returning to the UK his simple ingredient lead cooking has been a hit at Sculthorpe Mill, where he was awarded a ‘bib gourmand ‘for three consecutive years from the Michelin guide. Elliot created ‘Hello Sailor’ his fish supper club in 2024 and looks forward to cooking in intimate and unusual spaces and sharing his passion for British seafood and the incredible ingredients, produced, grown and reared here in Norfolk.
