North Norfolk Cellars is a wine shop on the North Norfolk coast by award-winning sommelier & author Bert Blaize. Rare, characterful wines from classics to off-the-beaten-track finds, plus beers, spirits, deli & gifts. Wine bar overlooking Wells-next-the-Sea harbour.
We host a monthly wine tasting exploring different countries, grapes, or regions, and you can also book a private, bespoke tasting for groups of four or more please get in touch via Hello@nnc.wine
About Bert Blaize
North Norfolk Cellars was launched in 2023 by sommelier Bert Blaize. Bert trained at La Belle Epoque in Manchester and Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons, later joining The Clove Club, one of the UK’s top-ranked restaurants. He collaborated with Dan Barber on the ‘WastED’ project and won the UK’s Top Young Sommelier competition in 2019. Bert has blended wine with Château Pesquié, been named in the top 50 most influential people in the wine industry, published Which Wine When with Penguin, and will release his next book Drinking the World: A Wine Odyssey in 2025. He currently consults and curates bespoke wine and beverage offerings for some of the UK’s best restaurants, chefs, and bars.
