2018 Buisson Reynard (Sauvignon Blanc) Domaine Didlier Dagueneau Loire

The 2018 “Buisson Renard” from Domaine Didier Dagueneau comes from Pouilly-Fumé in the Loire Valley, where flint-rich (silex) and clay soils give Sauvignon Blanc its hallmark smoky minerality. A cult estate founded by Didier Dagueneau, now run by his children, farms around 12 hectares with extremely low yields and meticulous handwork. The warm 2018 vintage brings ripe citrus, exotic fruit and floral notes, layered with flinty precision and texture. Rich yet vibrant, it pairs beautifully with lobster, ceviche or goats’ cheese dishes.
