The Norfolk Bramble Whisky Liqueur captures Norfolk’s hedgerows in a bottle, combining English single malt with a medley of blackberries. Made by The English Distillery, founded by the Nelstrop family in 2006, it comes from England’s first registered whisky distillery for more than a century and is bottled at 20% ABV. Originally launched in 2008 and retired in 2018, the recipe was later refreshed and relaunched, rather than presented as a vintage-aged release. Expect sweet berry and blossom aromas, followed by luscious blackberry pie, fruit crumble and a pleasingly tart finish. Serve neat, over ice or with fizz; pair with cheesecake, chocolate desserts or fruity puddings.
