The Norfolk Selection Ginger PX brings a taste of Norfolk’s Breckland to the glass, where The English Whisky Co., founded by James and Andrew Nelstrop in 2006, produces spirits at St George’s Distillery. The 20% ABV liqueur combines rich Pedro Ximénez sherry with fresh stem ginger, creating a gloriously indulgent, warming style. There is no stated vintage or age, but the PX element is matured before blending. Expect raisins, cocoa, orange peel and ginger-nut biscuit, with a treacly texture and lingering spicy finish. Serve neat or over ice, or splash with hot water and lemon. Brilliant with Christmas pudding, sticky toffee pudding or vanilla ice cream.
