We’re delighted to welcome Hugo Stewart of Domaine Hugo to a special meet-the-winemaker evening in Wells-Next-The-Sea.
Hugo is one of the most exciting figures in English wine, farming with biodynamic practices on chalk soils in Wiltshire and producing wines of real precision and depth. In just a few vintages, Domaine Hugo has established itself at the forefront of the movement, earning major recognition at the WineGB Awards, including top honours for vintage sparkling wine. The domaine is also a member of Renaissance des Appellations, a respected international collective of biodynamic producers.
On the night, we’ll taste a curated flight of Hugo’s wines, paired with snacks designed to highlight their character and energy. We rate these among the very best wines being made in England today and are thrilled Hugo is travelling to Wales to share them with us.
