2020 Bourgogne Stephane Magnien

Stéphane Magnien’s 2020 Bourgogne is a charming, pure Pinot Noir from Burgundy, made by a fourth-generation grower based in Morey-Saint-Denis. The domaine covers around 4.5 hectares, with vineyard work focused on expressing the character of the soils and keeping the wines fresh and precise. The 2020 vintage was notably warm and dry, with an early harvest producing ripe, concentrated fruit while retaining good acidity. Expect lively cherry and raspberry flavours, gentle spice, silky tannins and a subtle earthy finish. Elegant without being fussy, it is a brilliant partner for roast chicken, duck, charcuterie, mushroom dishes or pork.
