Domaine Louis Michel believe that ‘in a terroir as rich and unique as Chablis, the wines are made in the vineyard’, a mantra that led to them being among the first in the village to use only stainless steel in their fermentation process. This approach results in incredibly pure wines of great tension, where the Chardonnay grown on these intensely mineral soils is allowed to shine. Their 2000 Montmains Premier Cru embodies this perfectly, bringing intensity and rich texture thanks to the generous bottle age.
