The 2021 Rully Blanc from Domaine Dureuil-Janthial is a refined expression of Chardonnay from Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise. The estate spans over 20 hectares, with vineyards in Rully, Mercurey, and the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The vines are cultivated using organic and biodynamic practices, with a focus on sustainability and respect for the terroir.
The 2021 vintage is a blend from four lieux-dits: La Martelle, Chaponnière, La Bergerie, and Le Meix Cadot, with vines planted between 1949 and 2007. The wine underwent fermentation in barrel (20% new oak) and was aged for 12 months, followed by 6 months in stainless steel to harmonise the flavours
This wine offers aromas of yellow fruits, citrus, and floral notes, with a lively and creamy texture on the palate. The finish is marked by a persistent minerality .
