The grapes are sourced from high-altitude vineyards at 600 meters above sea level, situated in the Montmell mountains. These vineyards benefit from calcareous, stony soils and a Mediterranean mountain climate, which contribute to the wine's freshness and minerality. The wine undergoes natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts and is bottled without added sulphites, resulting in a pure expression of the terroir.
On the nose, the 2022 Ancestral Montònega offers vibrant aromas of green apple, white flowers, and subtle citrus notes.
