This is the highly antisapated next release from one of our favourite estates, Mountain People Wine. Since 2019, David Morris has meticulously tended his vineyards at Parva Farm in Wales, near Tintern. Embracing biodynamic practices, he implemented stringent pruning methods and eliminated agro-chemicals entirely. The 2-hectare vineyard, nestled on a steep south-facing slope 100 meters above the River Wye, was planted with various varietals in the early 1980s.
This is skin contact cuvée from 10 experimental rows. These aromatic and semi-aromatic varieties undergo an 80-day skin contact period before free run juice and a gentle press is aged in tank for a year.
The resulting wine dazzles with vibrant aromatics reminiscent of rose (Gewurztraminer), orange peel, and a medley of spice and floral hints (Pinot Gris, Seyval Blanc, etc.). The palate is electric with refreshing acidity, a subtle phenolic texture, and a lingering finish, showcasing Morris’s dedication to quality and innovation.
