2023 Sauvignon Blanc Leeuwin Estate Margaret River

Leeuwin Estate’s 2023 Art Series Sauvignon Blanc captures Margaret River’s cool, maritime charm, where ocean breezes temper summer heat and ancient gravelly sandy-loam soils over clay encourage elegant, concentrated fruit. Established by Denis and Tricia Horgan in 1973, Leeuwin is one of the region’s founding wineries; today, three generations of the family oversee 121 hectares under vine. The 2023 vintage enjoyed a long, sunny season, with daytime temperatures of 26–32°C and no major heat spikes. Expect lime, pink grapefruit, gooseberry, lemon blossom and cardamom, with bright acidity and a subtly creamy texture. Delicious with oysters, grilled fish, scallops or Thai cuisine.
