2024 Chardonnay, Central Coast, Sandhi Wines - California

Sandhi’s 2024 Chardonnay showcases California’s cool, ocean-influenced Central Coast, where Pacific breezes, coastal fog and long growing seasons help retain freshness and acidity. Founded in 2010 by sommelier Rajat Parr and winemaker Sashi Moorman, Sandhi focuses on site-driven, restrained wines. The Central Coast bottling draws on fruit including estate Chardonnay from Domaine de la Côte, with the 2024 vintage offering impressive balance and texture at around 13.4% alcohol. Expect yellow apple, pear, lemon, white flowers and peach, with creamy hints of panna cotta, subtle toast and a gently saline, mineral finish. A terrific partner for roast chicken, grilled fish, crab, lobster, creamy pasta or sushi.
