2025 Ribolla Gialla, Ronchivdi Cialla - Fruili

The 2025 Ribolla Gialla from Ronchi di Cialla is a lively taste of Friuli’s Colli Orientali, from the little Cialla valley where sunny slopes meet cool Alpine breezes and Eocene marl soils. Founded by Paolo and Dina Rapuzzi in 1970, this family estate is now run by sons Ivan and Pierpaolo, who farm around 28 hectares and champion Friuli’s native grapes. The 2025 is bright, dry and refreshing, with apple, pear, lemon zest, floral notes and a lovely mineral, savoury finish. Fermented in stainless steel and rested on its lees for three months, it’s terrific with seafood linguine, grilled prawns, courgette pasta, cod, fresh cheeses or Parma ham.
