Clonakilty Galley Head Grain Whiskey

From Clonakilty on Ireland’s wild West Cork coast, Clonakilty Galley Head is a lively Irish Grain Whiskey bottled at 40% ABV. Founded in 2016 by the Scully family, the distillery draws on nine generations of farming heritage, with barley grown on the family’s own land. Maturation takes place in an Atlantic-facing warehouse, where the sea air adds to the whiskey’s distinctive character. This is a no-age-statement whiskey, matured in ex-bourbon barrels for a smooth, approachable style. Expect bright raspberry, baked green apple, raisin, ginger spice and gentle citrus. Serve neat, over ice or in a Highball with smoked salmon, roast pork or apple tart.
