Franck Balthazar is the nephew of Cornas legend Noël Verset and has been making his own fantastic wines in the Rhone valley since 2002. Though his own reputation is also largely tied to producing tiny quantities of top Cornas, Franck’s Côtes du Rhône has developed a following of its own. Here he brings his high-quality, signature style to a brilliantly affordable blend of Grenache and Syrah, which is inky, spicy and boldly flavoured.
