Forest Whisky Blend Number 26

Forest Whisky Blend Number 26 brings a taste of Cheshire and the Peak District, made by independent Forest Distillery, founded by Lindsay and Karl Bond in 2014. Distilled using Cheshire barley and oats, wild yeast and spring water, it is matured in oak casks beneath the Cat and Fiddle before blending and a final rest in new English oak. There is no vintage or age statement; it is bottled at 47% ABV in 70cl bottles. Expect lemon meringue, honeycomb, soft butter, green apple and oak, with a gentle, smoky finish. Serve neat or with a splash of water, alongside mature cheddar or roast pork.
