Jean-Marc Roulot’s Bourgogne Blanc may carry a humble label, but don’t be fooled—this is Meursault royalty in disguise. Sourced mainly from parcels just outside Meursault proper, some bordering prestigious 1er Cru sites, the wine reflects Roulot’s razor-sharp precision and obsessive commitment to detail.
2022 was a generous, sun-kissed vintage in Burgundy, and Roulot harnessed its ripeness with trademark tension and purity. Farming is organic, harvests are done by hand, and fermentation is in used oak with extended lees ageing—always with minimal intervention.
The wine opens with laser-focused aromas of lemon peel, white flowers, wet stones, and a touch of hazelnut. On the palate, it’s racy yet textured, offering citrus oil, orchard fruit, and a saline, chalky finish that whispers of Meursault elegance.
Pair it with roast turbot, chicken in cream and tarragon, or a buttery plate of linguine with clams. Understated brilliance in every sip.
