Luxardo Maraschino Cherry Liqueur - Italian

Luxardo Maraschino Originale is an Italian classic with roots in Zadar, Dalmatia, where Girolamo Luxardo founded the distillery in 1821; today, production is based in Torreglia, Veneto, among the Euganean Hills. Still family-owned, Luxardo spans seven generations and exports to more than 80 markets. Made from Luxardo marasca cherries, the fruit is infused for up to three years in larch-wood vats before copper-pot distillation, followed by maturation in ash-wood vats. At 32% ABV, it is crystal clear, with bitter cherry, roasted almond, dark chocolate, vanilla and orange-marmalade notes. Serve neat or in an Aviation, or drizzle over gelato, chocolate desserts and fresh fruit.
