NV Brut Reserve, Bereche & Fils - Montagne de Reims

Bérêche & Fils Brut Réserve NV is a characterful grower Champagne from Ludes in the Montagne de Reims, where chalk, sand and clay give wines both grip and freshness. Founded in 1847, the family now farms around 9–11 hectares, with brothers Raphaël and Vincent at the helm. Hachette. This NV cuvée typically blends roughly equal Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay, with around 35% reserve wines; recent releases have used the 2019 or 2020 base vintages. Expect orchard fruit, citrus, pear, toasted bread, hazelnut and gentle spice, with creamy bubbles and lovely mineral freshness. Brilliant with roast chicken, smoked salmon, gougères or fish and chips.
