Torabhaig Sound Of Sleat Single Malt Whisky

Torabhaig Sound of Sleat is a taste of Sleat, on the Isle of Skye, named for the narrow sea channel separating Skye from mainland Scotland. Mossburn-owned Torabhaig is the island’s second licensed single-malt distillery, producing since 2017; Sound of Sleat is its fourth Legacy Series chapter, limited to 45,000 bottles. It is NAS, matured for 5–6 years in American oak: 75% first-fill Bourbon, 20% virgin oak and 5% refill Bourbon. At 46% ABV, with 78+ppm phenols, it offers orange, apricot, seaweed, honey, vanilla, bonfire smoke and sea salt. Serve simply neat or with water, alongside smoked salmon or mature Cheddar.
